Our cancer recovery programs are designed to accommodate each individual’s unique situation, including the type and stage of cancer, treatment status, lifestyle and comorbidities.

Research suggests there are many benefits to exercise oncology, or the application of exercise in helping those with cancer. Suitably prescribed exercise can help those with, or recovering from, cancer:

  • improve physical function
  • minimise impact of treatment side-effects
  • attenuate cancer-related fatigue
  • alleviate psychological distress
  • improve quality of life

We believe each person’s exercise plan should be individually personalised, so we work closely with clients and their treatment professionals to determine the best frequency for consultations and exercise sessions, whether that be one-one, group classes or home-based plans.
